Hans-Jürg „Schoscho“ Rufener is a serial entrepreneur, cosmopolitan lateral thinker and Chief Creative Director of the MCH Group, one of the leading international live-marketing groups. Schoscho Rufener studied economics at the University of St. Gallen and scenography at the Zurich University of the Arts and St. Martin School of Arts in London.

As a born entrepreneur with a keen sense for trends in business and society, Hans-Jürg Rufener began to build up various companies in the entertainment, gastronomy, events and lifestyle sectors. A central task of his work became Rufener Events, which he founded in 1999. The event agency quickly became an internationally active player. In 2009 he sold the company to MCH Group.
Schoscho Rufener holds a selected portfolio of investments from start-ups and established SMEs, which he advises strategically and accompanies in the development. Since 2010, he has been working as a trainer and coach for board members, management and executives of internationally active companies.
