Lukas Irmler

Lukas Irmler, born in 1988 is Germany´s most successful Slackliner.

Lukas Irmler found his passion for balance at the age of 18, when he first encountered a Slackline and leanred how to walk it. In the meantime, the 31 year old has traveled to six continents and over 40 countries to slackline and has set numerous world records in his sport.

His crossing of the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe made the news in more than 200 countries and has sparked exictement all around the globe. Lukas Irmler holds four Guinness World Records, was honored as Sportsman of the year multiple times, but has also aquired a Bachelors degree in Chemitry as well as a Masters degree in Economics.

Since 2011 he is not only a professional athlete, but also a speaker. Lukas Irmler passionatley shares his own experience and transfers the knowledge aquired in the realm of extreme sports into everyday life and the business world.

Lukas Irmler not only talkes about his achievemts, but also about the planning, goalsetting and self-motivation necessary to accomplish such success. Lukas is always looking for new challenges and keeps tackling them utilizing his dreams & visions. He believes that our biggest potentials are right where our fear is. Accordingly he lives following the motto „ Do one thing every day that scares you“.

Since Lukas Irmler has overcome his fear of heights, he has discovered a new world and the Slackline has given his life a very special direction ever since. How you set the right goals, tackle the obstacles on the way courageously and learn how to control your fears is what you can learn from Lukas’ very own experiences. Lukas is convinced that one can utilize the experiences made in the realm of extreme-sports also for everyday life situations and that it ist he very same principles that create success in many different areas in life.

Slacklining is still a very young sport, where creativity is most valuable. Finding new paths and being the first to realize ideas are some of Lukas’ strenghts and have made him well known far beyond the borders of his sport.
