Heike Henkel

Heike Henkel, born on 5 May 1964, was for more than a decade one of the world’s best track and field athletes. In three consecutive years, she won the European Championships, the World Championships and an Olympic gold medal, a high jump achievement that remains unsurpassed to this day. She was also elected track and field athlete of the year and sportswoman of the year.

The many successes of her almost 20-year career make the former professional athlete Heike Henkel an expert on topics such as goal-oriented motivation, physical fitness and positive ways to cope with stress.

She describes her valuable experiences at lectures and events and encourages her audience to expand their personal skills. She is also involved in health-focused sports and advises on exercise programmes in companies.
