Marc Jäggi

Marc Jäggi is a founding member of Roger Schawinski’s Radio 1 and hosts the Zurich station’s prestigious morning show. He also presents the popular weekly radio talk show ‚Shortlist‘ (together with publisher Matthias Ackeret) and the offbeat male talk format ‚Hirsch und Pfeffer‘ on the television channel Wetter.tv.

Jäggi can look back on a longstanding career as a media and communications professional.

Starting in 1998 as an advertising copywriter, then moving to the local radio station Förderband (today: Energy Bern) and later on in various functions, including that of programme manager at Switzerland’s oldest private radio station Radio 24. After a detour to the former Swiss Radio DRS 1 (today: SRF1), Marc Jäggi and media pioneer Roger Schawinski launched Radio 1, the ‚radio station for adults only‘. This is where Jäggi created the legendary talk format ‚Roger gegen Roger‘ (today: ‚Roger gegen Markus‘).

He also gives lectures on comedy on the radio at the Swiss School of Journalism (MAZ).
