Henrik Fisker is Founder and CEO of Fisker Inc. in the USA. With his company, he is building the first purely battery-powered SUV. Even before that, Henrik Fisker was known for his innovative ventures and car designs. Immediately prior to co-founding Fisker Automotive in August 2007, his first car brand, Henrik Fisker was co-founder and CEO of Fisker Coachbuild, a car design company that began operations in 2005, giving new impetus to the art of car building by combining beautiful design with existing world-class technology.

Founded in 2016 by Henrik Fisker, Fisker Inc. is a manufacturer of electric vehicles. Fisker Inc. is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Fisker Inc. has been listed on Wall Street since November 2020.

From 2001 to 2005, Henrik Fisker held senior positions in the design department of Ford Motor Company. He was creative director at Ingeni, Ford’s London-based design and creativity center. At Aston Martin, he was a member of the executive management team and design director. He designed the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and was responsible for the design of the DB9 launch. Variants of this sports car are among James Bond’s favorite cars.

Henrik Fisker was also the director of Ford’s Global Advanced Design Studio in Southern California. Under his leadership, several show cars were designed such as the Shelby GR1 Concept, which was exhibited at the 2005 North American International Auto Show.

In January 2001, Fisker became chairman and CEO of DesignworksUSA, a BMW industrial design subsidiary based in California. His most notable works include the BMW Z07 Concept (1997) and the BMW Z8 Roadster (1999), also a James Bond car.

After graduating from the Art Center College of Design in Vevey, Switzerland, Fisker began his career in Germany in 1989 at the Advanced Design Studio of BMW Technik GmbH.

Henrik Fisker is a native of Denmark and lives with his wife Geeta Fisker in Los Angeles, California.
